Download & Installation

[Option 1] Install SDK via apt-get

Run the following command to download and install the SDK using apt-get:

echo "deb https://psygig.bintray.com/deb {distribution} main" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list
sudo apt-key adv --keyserver hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com:80 --recv-keys 379CE192D401AB61
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install psyiage

where {distribution} is the operating system distribution (eg. xenial for Ubuntu 16.04)

[Option 2] Install SDK tar.gz release

Download the most up-to-date PSYGIG Mobility IoT SDK tar.gz release.

Note

Ensure that you download the correct release for your platform architecture (eg. x86_64, armhf, aarch64).

Extract the SDK to the desired location (eg. /opt) using the tar command:

sudo tar xvzf psyiage-VERSION-ARCH.tar.gz -C /opt

where VERSION is the SDK version and ARCH is the platform architecture

To make it easier to access the SDK’s libraries and binaries, you may want to setup symbolic links from the system directories (eg. /usr/local/bin /usr/local/lib)

sudo ln -fs /opt/psygig/psyiage/include/* /usr/local/include
sudo ln -fs /opt/psygig/psyiage/bin/* /usr/local/bin
sudo ln -fs /opt/psygig/psyiage/lib/* /usr/local/lib
sudo ldconfig

That’s it! Now head to Getting Started to start developing your IoT applications.
